| I was born in a small town in New York state of Indian Muslim parents from Uttar Pradesh. Most of my life has been spent in Northern California, and I don't think I can consider any other place besides the Bay Area as home. My younger brother is one of the most generous and caring people I know, and I love hanging out with him. | I am currently a first year medical student at the University of Miami's Miller School of Medicine. My greatest dream is to be a successful and compassionate doctor, and this will always be the primary focus of my life. Along with clinical work, I also plan to actively participate in cancer research to do my part in eradicating this horrible disease from the face of the earth. | Some of the creative interests that keep me sane though all the stressful times are singing, dancing, writing poetry, and of course, webdesigning. Singing is one of my greatest passions and something that always uplifts my spirits. Some time in the near future, I plan to try out for both American Idol and Indian Idol, just to see if I can make it past the auditions. |
